Do not use Simplicity Bath & Shower for a quick builder grade upgrade that is just putting a new coat over your old bathroom.
However, if you want a top-quality personalized update to your bathroom space call Brian Horton!!
Brian will take the time to get to know you, your needs and your personal tastes before making suggestions about renovating the space. He is very good at listing to your ideas as well.
Brian and his team converted my builder grade bathroom in Richmond into a beautiful fully accessible bathroom of my dreams. This remodel project included removing walls and redoing portions of the ceiling to match the vaulted ceiling in the remainder of the room. In addition, all new lighting was to brighten the space, but with a dimmable option. The entire floor is new tile over a sealing underlay to prevent any future concerns and the walk/roll in shower provides a fold down bench with rain head and handheld options. In addition, there is a second standing shower area with its own rain head and hand help options. The showers are separated by a beautiful glass wall to keep the entire bathroom bright and open,
After our initial meeting and discussion Brian returned with a few tile samples (floor, wall & shower floor) that were almost perfect and returned a couple of days later with another set of samples. The 2nd set of samples was perfect. Not having to look through dozens and dozens of tile samples trying to find those that matched my tastes and looked great together was such a stress relief and one of the reasons I would highly recommend Simplicity for your bathroom project.
Finally, Brain helped me find exactly the controls I wanted for the shower that provided for lever action with separate control of temperature and flow with a matching diverter control to select between the rain head and handheld. Brain also located matching single lever controls for the vanity sinks that included a pullout nozzle feature which makes rinsing the sink very easy.
It is also worth noting that even though I moved into another bedroom for the duration of the project all of the crews from framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall and tile work did a great job of cleaning up every day before leaving. All of the work was completed with quality and on time.
PS. Not shown is my new toilet with bidet seat from Toto that Brian recommended and I absolutely love.

We had a great experience with Simplicity Bath and Shower from start to finish. Brian, the owner, was wonderful to work with and made the whole process easy. His team was professional, courteous, and respectful of our home, and the quality of their work really shows. We absolutely love our new shower and could not be happier with how everything turned out. Highly recommend Brian and the Simplicity Bath and Shower team!

Simplicity Design was tasked with refreshing a 40-yr old 1980 bathroom that had seen better days. After terrible results with less qualified contractors, we opted to go with someone that focused on bathrooms and would stand behind their product. Our utmost concern was structural integrity and waterproofing. The attention to detail is unparalleled and well worth the cost. We are confident we have a bathroom that will last the next 40 years.

From the onset the owner takes notes, photographs, provides suggestions, asks questions about how users would like space to function and provides detailed information about products to be used and potential areas of concern. The communication is thorough, schedule is provided, updates are frequent, and tasks happen when they are scheduled to happen.

The cast of craftsmen are highly skilled individuals who take extra care covering flooring and furnishings to avoid damage, using air movers to reduce dust, and cleaning up every evening so the house can still be a home. Their work is meticulous and high quality. Design services helped narrow the selection of tile and fixtures to select products that are easily maintained and timeless.

Upon completion of each task, there was inspection of all the painting, caulking, grouting, tilework, waterproofing, piping, and installations to ensure they were satisfactory. I could not be more pleased with the outcome of the master bathroom and have already contracted the team to replace sinks and countertops in the powder and secondary bath.

Brian and his team from Simplicity Shower & Bath did a great job on our bathrooms. They removed 2 bathtubs and converted the space into beautiful walk-in showers using their onyx shower system. They also replaced 5 toilets with new units. Brian fully explained the work process and schedule so there were no surprises. The crew worked efficiently and maintained clean work areas throughout from start to finish.

I really appreciate the work of Brian at Simplicity Bath. We did a full bathroom shower replacement with floors, toilet, electrical, vanity, cabinets, and closet door, plus lights for our home in Houston's Memorial area. This was a significant bit of work, and we really needed Brian's help to shepherd us through key design and sourcing decisions. That collaboration led to a wonderful result. See for yourself in the attached photos.

Great experience from start to finish. The team was professional, respectful, and very helpful throughout the whole job. They communicated well, checked in daily with updates, kept everything clean, and made sure we were comfortable during the process. The finished work looks beautiful, the craftsmanship was solid, and most importantly it’s safe for my father-in-law. They were also very considerate of our dogs, which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend.
