For the vast majority of bathrooms, your biggest costs are skilled trade labor and project management. After all, the skilled hands that create your new space are vital to the outcome.

We can make any of these options work, and we have for many clients. The actual cost for a professional bathroom renovation in 2026 can be eye-opening, and we’re sensitive to that.

On the other hand – and for the sake of your happiness and marital bliss – we do not recommend trying to save by hiring new or inexpensive contractors (Houston has MANY); nor are flooring stores a good choice for your bathroom remodel, as flooring and bathrooms are very different projects. A bathroom remodel is detail- and waterproofing-heavy, with up to a dozen different trades, while flooring is a volume-based, rinse-and-repeat business.
