Cabinets, Vanities, & Countertops for Your Bath
Replacing bathroom cabinets and countertops can instantly add fresh appeal to your bathroom, while increasing and enhancing your storage space, utility, and efficiency. Your cabinets are one of the most important aspects of a bathroom remodel, and they should be designed and selected to coordinate with the rest of your bath.
Design With A Wide Variety of Cabinets, Countertops, & Sinks
If you’re looking to remodel your bathroom vanities, cabinetry, and countertops, we offer this work as both a standalone project, or as part of larger bath remodels in the Houston area.
Most often, cabinets are replaced as part of full bath remodels, as removing and replacing cabinets can create a “domino effect” of work, requiring adjacent mirrors, lights, flooring, and wall tiles to need repair or replacement as well. Occasionally, we are able to replace individual cabinets and countertops with no additional work required.
We offer four levels of cabinetry, from off-the-shelf “workhorse” cabinets to completely custom and designer options made of solid wood, with many available wood species. Our most often-selected cabinetry is built in the USA from our favorite semi-custom manufacturer, who offers a well-made product at a reasonable price point, with factory stain and paint options that eliminate the need for a separate painter, plus a lifetime warranty.
We build with all styles of cabinetry – from traditional overlay to international overlay, and from super-sleek inset cabinets to very modern frameless cabinetry, so you will not be limited by type of cabinet construction. We will work with you to help you choose the look you want.
You can pair your new cabinets with a custom countertop made from quartz, granite, marble, stone resin, solid surface, or other material, as well as a backsplash made from matching stone, or a custom tiled backsplash. We can bring samples to you if you’d like to keep the selections simple, or, we’ll schedule a visit to one of our favorite Houston slab yards to consider your stone countertop options in person.
Your sink options include undermount, console, and vessel sinks and we will coordinate your faucet choice to make sure it will work with your sink. We have installed glass sinks, metal sinks, stone sinks, and porcelain sinks, with undermounted porcelain being far and away the most popular choice. We can select your sinks online or in-person through one of our specialty vendors.
Name Brand Faucets & Accessories In Many Finishes
For faucets, you can choose from widespread, center-set, single-hole, and wall-mount options from manufacturers such as Delta, Brizo, Kohler, Kallista, & Waterworks. We can even install motion-activated, touch-less sink faucets.
Your faucets will need to be coordinated with the rest of the bath, and we will assist you with this during your design and selections process. With our guidance, you will not end up with non-coordinating items that don’t “play” well together.
We do not recommend going cheap on your sink faucets. Due to increasing metal costs, many manufacturers are trending towards lighter-weight faucets with more plastic in them, and, while plastic may not tarnish the way metal does, it often has its own durability issues. More expensive faucets from better brands tend to be heavier and better made, with longer-lasting finishes than more favorably-priced box-store brands. With the hard water we are all used to in Houston, we have seen cheap faucets begin to lose their finish within a couple short years. Unfortunately, manufacturer warranties do not cover this slow degradation, and the finish cannot be renewed. We recommend factoring this into your decision-making process!
As far as finishes go, for most clients, chrome and brushed nickel are the best finish choices for a timeless appeal, although more trendy black, brushed brass, and champagne bronze finishes are also popular choices.
2020 CAD Design
For larger cabinet orders and more involved bath remodels, we work with design software including 2020 and Chief Architect to help you visualize what your selected cabinetry, countertops, and faucets will look like in your space, before we build your new bathroom. If you make changes to the style or finish of your cabinets, countertops, or faucets, we can have these reflected in your renderings, and in our construction documents, so you can approve the new look before we finalize your order and execute your build.
We also have the ability to produce life-like 3D renderings and even virtual walkthroughs with our software, so you can even more closely visualize how your finished cabinets, and your overall bathroom, will look. In many cases, these elements can be produced by our design team within a few days, once we know what selections you’d like to see.
Once you approve your final selections and design, we will get your project under contract, ordered and scheduled.
Before installation, we will receive and handle your faucets, hardware, cabinets, and stone carefully, and inspect them for damage before and during installation.
We Prefer Made in the USA
The vast majority of our vanities, vanity tops, sinks, and sink faucets are Made in the USA. In our experience, American-made products are usually built better and are more reliable, plus, they are much easier to service and repair if there’s ever an issue.
